We used to have these arguments about white girls with dreads and here's the thing. We weren't trying to say like, oh, it's stealing from our culture. We knew yall were gonna do that anyways and at this point fuck it. We meant you physically can't have dreads/loccs with that straight hair. Those aren't dreads, they're mats and they smell awful, I guarantee you. They don't breath like dreads.
